Am I currently scheduling projects?

Yes! I’m happy to discuss new projects. My availability is dependent upon my scheduled project deadlines and your proposed deadline. Next I consider your project’s content and your editing needs. When time allows and the partnership works, I’m happy to serve you.

What is my editing skill set?

My editing projects run the gamut.

I have edited documents as short as one page and as lengthy as over 400 pages. The types of projects include personal statements, blog posts, book chapters, doctoral dissertations, Bible studies, and novels.

dissertations. Really?

I’m sad to say I’ve heard horror stories when it comes to dissertations. It’s not uncommon for a client to share that their project was edited (for a price), and the story didn’t end well.

If you could ask my clients, I think you would hear great reviews! (Read the Testimonials.)

How do I schedule a project?

I set up clear procedures and processes. There are 4 easy steps:

  1. Initiate the process here through the Contact form. I will answer any questions not addressed in the FAQ.

  2. Complete a Work Order Request form. I’ll respond and most likely request an e-mail containing your file.

  3. I will return your file with sample edits and a formal Work Proposal.

  4. Examine the sample edits and proposal. Make your best decision. A minimum 50% payment via PayPal schedules the work.*

*Payment options may be available.

Do I offer discounts?

Sometimes. Peek at the Facebook Page, and you may find the equivalent of a coupon posted.

I may offer discounts when fees are paid in a single, upfront payment.

Late fees?

Late fees are an unfortunate consequence. The Work Proposal and Invoice mention the process and timing of payment. Slow payment strains the working relationship and will result in additional fees added to your bottom line. The best course of action to avoid additional fees is to pay within the time limit.

Proper communication may help to avoid fees, but that is not guaranteed.
